How Are Blockboards Classified

1. By usage environment
Indoor blockboard: Suitable for indoor use. Outdoor blockboard: Suitable for outdoor use.
2. By core structure
Solid-core blockboard: Blockboard made with a solid core. Hollow-core blockboard: Blockboard made with a grid-like core.

3. By application
General-purpose blockboard. Construction-grade blockboard.
4. By surface finish
Divided into three categories: single-sided sanded, double-sided sanded, and unsanded blockboard.

5. By number of layers
Three-layer blockboard: Blockboard made by bonding a single layer of veneer to each of the two large faces of the core. Five-layer blockboard: Blockboard made by bonding two layers of veneer to each of the two large faces of the core. Multi-layer blockboard: Blockboard made by bonding more than two layers of veneer to each of the two large faces of the core.
6. By core assembly method
Glued-core blockboard: Blockboard made by bonding core strips together with adhesive to form the core. Non-glued-core blockboard: Blockboard made by assembling core strips into a core without the use of adhesive.
