Finger-Jointed Board Production Process

The process, spanning from raw material handling to the final product leaving the factory, involves the following steps: cutting logs to length; sawing into strips; drying and modification in specialized equipment; sorting based on color, defects, etc.; initial planing; finger-jointing (cutting joints); joining strips lengthwise; edge-gluing (panel assembly); drying; sanding; putty filling; and final sanding.
